2017 Ships To Shore King Of The Sea

The "King Of The Sea" ,the Kaiwo Maru a 361 foot four masted barque, sailed into Steveston, British Columbia from May5th-7th for Ships to Shore King Of the Sea. The Shady Isle Pirates were on hand to entertain thousands of festival goers this past weekend on Saturday and Sunday with Pirate magic, chanty singing, 18th Century dancing and other pirate shenanigans. Set at Garry Point Park, Ships to Shore King of the Sea was a three day family festival where visitors were invited to view one of the world’s largest tall ships and enjoyed dockside programs and entertainment.
